Climbed this as part of the Glen Lyon ridge with Ali. Very windy on top - but last of the 4 climbed for the day. Nice night in Milton Eonan with tea and cake awaiting!

Meaning: Blue cairn shaped hill

Climbed this as part of the Glen Lyon ridge with Ali. Bit of a slog up to the top crossing quite a nice snow field of about 45 degrees where we had to kick steps etc. Ice axe getting lots of use! Hit the summit in VERY strong winds. Decided to continue with route for the moment.

Knackering ascent in afternoon with Grogz, Kate and Ali. Grogz and I made the summit at 4pm. Very, very satisfying!!!

Yomped up here with Ali after an early start (left home about about 6 ish). after a steady climb up to summit, the final 200m proved steaper and the ice axe was useful. check us out- mountaineers and everything!!! Ran back down 'cos we were late for Grogz and Kate at Schiehallion.

Ali and Grogz came up the hill on a drizzly day. Was very windy with hail and lots of snow on the summit plateau- Ali navigated well. Got there, turned round and came back! Made Grogz wear a bin bag in the blizzard- he'll remember waterproof trousers next time!

1st Munro- wehey!! Felt a bit unsure initially and route finding was correct, but not always confident. Very windy and wet. Darn cold at top. Got the ice axe out though!
